It was actually Mom's idea to go with the SP idea on this one.
Next step - sanding and varnish
Then there's one more step but that may be awhile before the actual design hits me.

the cogs: flywheels, gears, etc came from old watches, an old answering machine (not worth the effort to tear it apart) and Hobby Lobby. The clock face is from an old watch
