The harp on my lamp isn't secured very well (someone has worked the lamp to death before I got it) and the wires don't come out (which makes no sense). So, I need to sit down with it and work at securing the thing a little better. I love the lamp and love the beadwork that Mom did on the lampshade.
Its somewhat funny - no one that knows me can believe that I'm doing Victorian touches in a room of mine. Wait until the copper touches are worked up. :)
We need to extend the rain gutter downspouts a little further from the house and foundation and get the gutters cleaned out and secure. Then we paint the basement/garage walls with masonry sealer and that should help with the dampness in the basement and one wall in the garage.
Does anyone know if Georgia actually requires a handrail off a porch with three steps and three steps only?
